- Zoom in/out, panning
- Runway extended center lines
- Compass Rose
- Airports(public, private, military)
- Navaids and Fixes
- Airways(low altitude en-route)

Relative Terrain Warnings (Premium Only)
Avoid terrain by setting the map options to have terrain with elevations
close to and greater than your current elevation depicted in yellow
and red on the moving map. |
|
EFIS : (Premium Only)
Have a gps driven attitude indicator(AI) to help recognize when your plane's
AI has failed.
- Compass, ground speed, and altitude displays help with situational
awareness
- Waypoint Id, bearing, and distance reduces the chances of being
distracted with your nav equipment while flying partial panel
Important Note: This EFIS is gps based and its
artificial horizon will lag the aircraft's AI indicator. As such, it
is not safe to use as the primary means of attitude control. This screen
is provided to assist pilots in recognizing an AI failure and to confirm
the pilot's interpretation of a partial panel.

Advanced HSI : (Premium Only)
Not only do you get a HSI display, but also included is:
- Glidescope graph intuatively shows both distance and descent progress
to the runway touchdown point
- A standard RMI type indicator (right) shows glidescope deviance
- A VSI bar (left) showing current VSI, average VSI, and required
VSI to reach the touchdown point
- A wealth of numeric indicators fill in the missing pieces
|
Dashboard
For those who prefer to have useful information easily
readable at a glance
- Current status information on the top part of screen(speed, altitude,
track, vsi, and flight time.
- Waypoint Information on the bottom half of the screen (id, bearing,
ete, dist, cross-track-error, required vsi)
- Turn arrows reduce the mental calculations required to determine
direction to turn to get back on course
- Mini AI shows bank, pitch status
|
Runway Approach Screen: (Premium Only)
Monitor your runway approach.
- Moving map display with extended runway center line helps with
situational awareness
- RMI indicator helps you fine tune your alignment
- Large glidescope graph shows progress, both vertically and horizontally,
to the runway
- Displays required VSI to reach touchdown point
|
Designed For InFlight Use:
The only PocketPC EFB that is designed around inflight
use, rather than it being an afterthought. No need for a stylus. All
actions can be done using your finger tips.
- Tabbed interface for quick navigation between views

- Oversized screen widgets(labels, buttons, text entry
boxes, etc)
- Popup oversized keyboards for easy data entry while
the pda is attached to yolk mount

E6B (Premium Only)
Since the flight planner accounts for winds-aloft variables
when calculating ETE and fuel, the need for many E6B functions are eliminated.
CoPilotMap provides:
- Crosswind/Headwind
- Weight & Balance
- Density Altitude
|
Weather Charts: (Premium Only)
If your PDA has connectivity with the internet( via
cellphone, activesync, or wifi), you can view NOAA Weather Charts and
NexRad images
Charts Include:
- National NexRad
- National VFR/MVFR/IFR airport status
- National Airmets(Turbulence,Icing,All)
- National Prognostic(12hr,24hr,36hr)
- National Winds Aloft(Current,6hr,12hr at 6,00ft,9,000ft,12,000ft)
- Local NexRad for 50 different locations
|
Flight Planner:
- Unlimited number of routes and waypoints per route
- Search for airports by id, name, or city
- Reorder and reverse waypoints
- Winds and fuel burn rate is factored into results
|
Check Lists and Reference Info: (Premium
Only)
CoPilotMap offers a sample checklist that can be easily edited to meet
your needs using any text editor. Using a standard
text editor is far easier and faster than using checklist edit screens.

and reference information
- Large text size makes easy to read
|
Nearest Waypoints:
Mapped to one of the PDA hardkeys, you can quicky pull up the nearest
